General Meeting Saturday May 4th

At the annual general meeting held on January 29, 2019, it was discussed and a motion was made to drop all Youth Performance classes (Western pleasure, Western horsemanship, English pleasure, English equation and trail) and combine those into the Open Performance classes of same.

Such would change our constitution and bylaws on how year-end awards are given, specifically number 11 in our bylaws for High Point year-end Awards. The proposed removal of youth performance classes would mean striking the rule regarding High Point overall youth performance because that will no longer apply.

In order to change the Constitution and bylaws, the proposed change must be put in writing to the general membership with reasonable time for review, and then the general membership must vote at a general meeting whether to accept the proposed change.

We are calling a general meeting at our club following spring clean up on Saturday May 4th 2019, approx. time is noon. If you wish to vote, you must be a paid member for 2019. If you are a paid member but unable to attend in person and wish to vote by proxy, please submit it in writing prior to the meeting. We would greatly appreciate if you came out to help with the cleanup which starts at 10.

This meeting is very important for all those involved with Dry Lake Saddle Club!!!!!
